In waking life, before this series of dreams started, I had the curious experience of finding a rectory for sale at Greystead, near Kielder. The experience was curious for two reasons.

First, many [sic] years ago I had two dreams (or was it two parts of one dream?) which I recorded: that journal is now in store (I hope) but so far as I can recall they were as follows:

(a) I was in Trafalgar Square; but (and there may be other parts forgotten) I walked through a Churchyard in the North-west corner. The churchyard began (I think) to quake, and a voice said: 'The River North Tyne is overflowing its banks'.* [sic].
