(3) Inside a Church*, during a Service, the congregation are making a noise among themselves; I am studying an Accountant's 14-column sheet with black and red figures**. The clergyman stops the service and asks the congregation whether they want him to continue; they tell him No, and leave in a body.

*Possibly a new church at our new home: in that [=this?] dream { – Which? <890929>} the clergyman is very tall and looks remarkably like the Rector who christened [d] (but isn't).

**My resignation as Church Warden at [The Cross] {c9011} was the result specifically of a disagreement with the Secretary and other Church Warden (who were sisters) over the way the accounts were kept, as well as being due to the general practice [not by the Minister Canon [XQ]] of excluding me (and my English predecessor) from any discussions involving the church. <911100>
