I was and am not upset.* I rang [W] and she was cross. I rang [Canon][XQ], and he was furious – said he would speak to the Archbishop (who at my interview in ?October had said that he was entirely happy with me; that he didn’t normally overrule his selection board....**) today at [...].

I danced around the house with [s], until [W] came home, then talked. Later, snoozing (reaction?), I heard these words from [2] introducing xS: ‘You are the little dancer from [1]’,*** and a vision of her dancing in light flowing vestments.**** No wonder Evangelicals might mistrust me (if that is what they were.)# If, as I now suspect, Evangelicals in the Anglican Church are roughly at U~, then the Prophetic temperament would represent a terrifying threat to them on the Outer Circle:
