Other* cycles are due to end now: ** the short, co-existent circles of science and imperialism, the former of which may be turned into a more wholly inner circle rotation for the next stage in the development of natural philosophy (what this means is probably less organisation and more inspiration than at present), and both of which are adding their impetus to the world cycle; and the cycle of western civilisation, a predominantly inward circle of 4,000 years which, I guess, will spread its energy out in some way into the world.

The ‘political’ Europe cycle which started with the fall of Rome is only at G~ – Revolution – which with inward action towards Harmony*** is what has been and is transforming Europe during the present century.****

There is a World civilisation cycle, too, I speculate, from 3,000bc[e], which has reached u~/J~ – fragmentation of institutions and cultures[;]# but evolution is a handy degree at which to input 4,000 years of European culture.

It is notable, first of all, how precise#* the Greek and Roman 1,000-year cycles are (and the curiously equal length of the Byzantine extension); and secondly, how the Greek culture leads directly (with the 2,000 year old Judaic cycle) into the Christian cycle, and the Roman Empire into political Europe and possibly Islam, an overtly political religion from the start.
