[Redbook6:233-235][19890912:1002b]{Circle
and Sphere Directions}[c12th September 1989]
19890912.1002
[continued]
I
doubt whether, in the directions of the Circle degrees, actual
geographical directions (eg North, South, East, West) are all that
important; they are, in any case, highly ambiguous. What are
important are the self-referential Circle directions of Up, Down,
Left, Right, and behind and before; and as a combination of all
these, Inward and Outward (to and from the Spirit). There is a major
change of axis built in: the face of the Circle swings overhead so
that Left and Right are still the same, but F (Father-Creator) has
gone Up [sic],
I (Individual-Universe) has come down [sic],
and C and A~ are at front and back respectively.* This is the
traditional view of things, and the way in which the [O] is usually
perceived – ie overhead.**

**[Presumably,
the Individual usually perceives the [O] overhead as from the I
(Low)*** position, so the [O] is as usually represented in these
Journals, ie C Up, A~ Down, G~ Left, M~ Right, and F the most High***
above and beyond the plane of the [O], directly opposite to I. It is
not
completely clear
that this
is
what this Journal entry is saying.]
