Some time before 1974, I think, I wrote a poem called 'Fusion Child'* starting from this** point on the shore for a railway journey back to London, during which the Awareness becomes aware of Reason and the Creation-Child as separate aspects of him before they fuse together. For a long time I couldn't fit this in to the (then) four-way Archetype pattern: I am inclined to think now that Awareness is the Soul – a sensitive repository of impressions, Reason is the mental products of the Separation (e.g. the “Self” – Ego &/or Id??)***, and the Creation Child is the Spirit: possibly corresponding to the Inner Circle, the Outer Circle and the Centre respectively. **** The similarity between the Creation Child and the child +C in [0] is therefore not co-incidental, #as the Christ Archetype at the top of the Circle is the (only) way to the Centre, and closest to the Spirit.#*
