What was it* all about? It seemed possible that the Constellations as known by the Greeks and the Arabs (possibly owing something to Babylonian – or earlier? -- naming activities), and the Tarot Pack, are attempts to record in symbolic form suitable to their times and circumstances a body of 'ancient' knowledge (or at least the essentials thereof) concerning the rhythm and cycles underlying Men's development at all levels, to enable Men to understand and guide their own development. Naturally one would expect that these two systems would have been used as aids to learning, expounded by teachers. There are indications that the Constellations have been modified by different cultures to reflect their own versions of this (perhaps earlier, common?) knowledge in their own ways.

A new way of considering the body of Greek mythology is suggested – possibly on the same time-selection basis. There is sufficient in common between Greek, Arab and Babylonian astrological fragments, and between them and the Tarot Pack (as fitted), to suggest a common origin.
