The point* is that you cannot bargain with God: you cannot even by implication say: 'I am interested in evolving into a superior being, therefore I am going to worship, or concentrate on, God'. Up to a point I guess that your motive dictates what you find: the mechanism is like a huge psychic reflector, ** but in no sense inert like a mirror: it lives and is out of the Individual's control. This, of course, is roughly how the [O] works (per [1] and [2]).
