has been very clear that my recollections[,] in this journal[,] of
earlier influences, ideas etc. are totally unreliable: if only
because they leave so much out. There may be other inaccuracies. Add
to this the strong possibility of present suggestions being wrong –
and the reliability of these journals may be correctly perceived.
Not
to mention, of course, bad expression – like this one.
