{The Forms of Angels}[4th October 1987]

[Redbook4:96-97][19871004:2105]{The Forms of Angels}[4th October 1987]

But as to the forms* of Angels... I should guess that the Soul clothing the Spirit can take on not only the colour appropriate to its qualities; but also, the shape appropriate, for example (perhaps) of a symbol: an object (although there is something rather disturbing about that), living creature, or Man. The solidity of this form might depend upon the levels of Separation in which the Spirit informing it was functioning: from pure light at the Centre, to full and complete body on the Outer Circle.

But the perception of the observer might depend upon the level upon which the observer was travelling. What this would mean in practice is that an Angel functioning within the Material World would be seen by an Outer Circle Man as another physical person; but by an Inner Circle Man as a form having that Angel's particular qualities of the Spiritual Realm, perceived only according, not to the qualities of the Angel, but to the state of the Man.

But an Angel functioning solely within the Spiritual Realm (as all angels do {function} always {within the Spiritual Realm}, whether or not simultaneously within the Material World), although perceivable to a greater or lesser extent by an Inner Circle Man, would not be perceived by an Outer Circle Man at all.**
