At the same time,* I think it must be said that as the Principles or Qualities of Archetypes or Archangels and other Angels reflect the patterns of Natural and Human affairs; so it does not follow that they are the cause and we are the effect, any more than it follows that that we are the cause and they are the effect.

From our Material point of view, we are reality and they are illusion; from their Spiritual point of view, they are reality and we are, or rather our view of reality is, illusion; the Truth is that God is Reality, and we and they are a part of that Reality.

But this is why a Man can only come to see Reality from the Spiritual point of view to the extent that withdraws from the Material point of view. Since none of us, living corporeally in the Material World**, can completely withdraw from the Material point of view, so none of us can completely see Reality from the Spiritual point of view; and for certain none of us, Man or Angel, can travel either the Outer or the Inner Circle and yet be wholly fused with God. But there is much that may be achieved.
