This*
also suggests a partial answer for the question: what is the radial**
relationship of Archetypal Principles?**
For
themselves, they are inner and outer aspects of the same Archetypal
Quality; but for the traveller on the Outer Circle, it is likely that
he has the freedom to choose and to use the Inner Radial Principles
at his point, to some extent at least, to ease his burden. This is
similar to, but more flexible and more within the Individual's
control (I think) than, Contra-rotation***.

give an example:

A
traveller (and now we see perhaps**** another explanation of why and
how St. Christopher is the Patron Saint of Travellers!#*) on the spot
marked x on the Outer Circle, J~, Fragmentation, will by
Contra-rotation also have a resonance at (x) on the Inner Circle, U~,
Evolution; I do not know to what extent this is decided at the
preceding Crisis, and what flexibility remains at later stages (some,
I think). But to assist him in the times which are likely to be
difficult and getting worse, #**he can to an extent invoke the Inner
aspect of J~, Creation, by Radial Resonance: not in so intense a form
as if he were on the Inner Circle, but helpfully.#***
In
practical terms, what this may mean is that a Man whose outer life is
falling apart might:
(a)
be aware of an inner evolution proceeding at the same time towards
some destiny of which he is probably ignorant (Contra-rotation); and
(b)
be able to find comfort and support in creative activities of the
mind, such (perhaps) as painting or making music.#****
