AND GENDER

The
question is: what does the Outer Circle do for you? There is a view,
which has occurred to me, that only on the Inner Circle can a new
thing be learnt which tends towards God,* and which therefore
survives eternally. I find this hard to believe if it means that all
Outer Circle experience is wasted, or simply
works towards the destruction of the Self (and the construction [sic]
of Man's material culture): is nothing
of this to survive? But it is possible, and makes some sense in
gender terms: female-ness in its purest form certainly has (or can
have) a degree {of} self-less-ness of which male-ness is not easily
capable; but the Self in us is what enables Individual physical
survival (and, to some extent, psychological identity?) within a
separated World.
On
the other hand, it is not perhaps wholly contradictory to suggest
that after the Death of the Self, something
might remain that was learnt during the Outer Circle, particularly
bearing in mind the possibility of Gearing**:
(a)
that a faint Inner Circle revolution may have occurred at the same
time; and
(b)
that an Inner Circle*** echo may have accompanied each Outer Circle
point – for those with Inner Circle awareness or sympathies.
((c)
The other**** aspect of Gearing, which is not dealt with here, is
that different revolutions of the Circles may occur in relation to
different aspects of the same Individual, at different {but} probably
related speeds.#)
