The significance of my dream of xS*, and the connection with moving, should be seen also** in connection with a manuscript note in the original ms. draft for [2] at precisely that moment when xS, just appeared for the first time***, leaves her brief recollection of the past and turns to [the Narrator], and to the future: 'I am becoming serious! Ask.' The asterisk [in the manuscript] is marginally noted in pencil: ****“Rung by Mrs. [B] in reply to our letter re [CH]”. The letter was the first letter, enquiring whether they were now interested in selling it with the Mobile Home#. The phone call said they were.
