Qualities become significant. I have used the term 'qualities' to describe certain characteristics attached to points on the Circles – e.g. [xS]*: 'My qualities are Love, and Simplification; or, as others have called them, Temperance, and Death'. But qualities are also inner senses or feelings of an unfamiliar kind, which may be of a richness and texture difficult to describe externally, like subjective colours; but unlike colours, there seems to be no obvious limit to the possible extent and variety of these inner qualities. They come, and go, and return again, each according to the moment, and are like blessings.
