The suppression of inner action by outer action* (leading to distraction) on the mind of the Individual is very serious.
The mind of modern Man is an instrument of great refinement, and great sensitivity. Not only is this suppression, by all indications, bad for his health; it is also, if I am right in thinking that all significant Human development arises within the inner mind of Man, likely to impede our development in the future.
