That sequence* of cards is terrifying, and marks a centrepiece of the sequence T.VI – T.XXI, Outer and Inner Circles, half way along which the Transformation Point occurs:

This breaks the pattern neatly into fives (and this*** one**** six):

1	T0	This is the Beginning and the End.
5	TI-V	This seems to be the sequence of formation, or form.
5	TVI-X	This is basically a sequence of 'getting on', with checks.
6	TXI-TXVI	This sequence moves from being overcome to being released: TXIII Death is both.
5	TXVII-TXXI	This sequence is of a completely new type.

(The traditional position of T0 The Fool at beginning and end of the pack, which here translates to North# and Centre, fits with the interpretation of +C†I~'s nature inside and outside the Separation on p.316.#*
