[Inserted on p.329 is an undated cutting which appears to be from The Times: “How to raise a genius: Psychologist David Lewis shows, in a new book, how parents hold the key to their children's intellectual success”, including the paragraph: “Lewis claims that the academic system is geared to intellectual thinking, but his research reveals that only a quarter of children think in this way. He has identified three other ways of thinking: intuitive, innovative and implementive [sic; underlining added to cutting], and believes that children with these “mind styles” rarely get a chance to shine.” “... (many problems, he says, stem from different thinking styles within the family)”.]
