To summarise*: it seems that in the terms** settled by the Ancients (whoever, if ever, they were), the passage of the Earth through Night and Day and round the Sun through the Year are basically Inner Circle rotations; the Moon's passage through the months may be Outer Circle (note that the Full Moon is traditionally, and some claim statistically, associated with Outer Circle manifestations of Evil).*** The Earth itself is horizontally oriented in opposite directions for Inner and Outer Circle matters; but probably only one way vertically, i.e. I~ in the North (this is uncertain) – it possibly changes in the same way that the (Earth's] Magnetic Polarity reverses at intervals.
