{World Circles [continued(5)]: ((4) Star Map))}[8th July 1987]

In terms of the Star Map, I think Diagram (1)* represents the actual rotation, i.e. an Inner Circle rotation placing (I believe!) G~ firmly on the... [See after the next two diagrams]

[continued from before the two last previous diagramsright, or 'East', side looking up, which is G~'s side in an 'inner' World (Eastern, mystical and revelatory religions etc.) but not in an 'outer' World (Revolution is on the left in politics and, even in Asia, spreads to the right, or Eastwards – Tyranny spreads Westwards from the Right to the Left). ** The movement of the Earth observer round the Northern Sky is in fact an Inner Circle progress.***

(I believe that the Moon basically goes the other way.)

Two points:

(1) I do not think that there is much point in applying this to the Southern Sky as the Ancients would presumably have left a large hole around the South Pole.

(2) The remark about the Pole at North and the Southern Cross at South (p21)# is not relevant in this discussion of the orientation of the Earth to the Northern Star map (i.e. a [...]land centred on the North Pole) which is horizontally opposed to the [...]land geography (but not the library in [the] Castle […]). The Pole/Cross orientation is concerned with the orientation of the Earth within itself, which at least horizontally may be reversible.#*
