It
was reading this piece*, which I take to refer to the Highlands, and
seeing a photograph of Bonnie Prince Charlie's monument at
Glenfinnan, a few days ago, that made me decide to stop fighting
against my longing to settle in the Highlands, between the Mountains
and the Sea, to stop compromising by pulling my settlement Southwards
because of the needs of the business, to wander in fact wherever our
vision leads us, and live there.
