{[R~]-[xS]-Sophia}[31st December 1989]

[continued]

What I have felt strongly over the last week or so is the ‘pull’ of [R~], or [xS]. Perhaps due to the strength of outward distractions, at Christmas of all times – [W] and [d] at home on holiday, and the children’s noise and demands far more disruptive than usual – this has tended to take the form of (or come attached to) images from the actual and entertainment worlds; but the frustration and sometimes depression engendered by these (and by lack of sleep) disappears when their source is recognised. She, at least, pulls me the right way.

But what place has she, Sophia,* in the Anglican Church?
