Sad news this evening, that the eldest son* of the lady who formerly owned this house,** […], only […] years old, but a non-practised [sic] barrister, an alcoholic, and I believe a schizophrenic, died on Christmas Eve, being found dead on Christmas morning. May God rest his Soul.
