And although this next point is not a reason for any decision, I hazard that the basis of this distinction* is to be found in the moulding of the Church, at all levels (but especially in each Parish) by outside forces – forces external to the individual incumbent, at least – and the incompatibility of this with the inner-driven freedom of the Spirit.

Nevertheless the Old Testament reading which I have begun has already produced marvels in Circle terms.
