see that the town I have been calling “Marseilles” all this time
is in fact called “Marseille” – likewise the Tarot pack. What
do I do? Write “(sic)” after each time?*

seems that 'Marseilles' is the recognised anglicisation – on the
Tarot pack, at least.}
