The purpose of the Separation is to enable Change, through time. The point of extreme Separation on the Circles is at Distraction, the point of A~, associated with Tarot 1 The Magician, and Tarot X The Wheel of Fortune.

The ability to learn quickly is the ability to change quickly to cope with change. It follows that quick learners are creatures of the Separation, with a tendency towards Evil; and that slow learners, or people set in their ways, are creatures more sympathetic towards Union, the One.*

This is despite the fact that A~ is associated with Manufactoral [sic] enterprise, between Innovation and Implementation; and +CI~ with Cerebral function, between Intuition and Intellection.
