I am considering more closely the idea of producing booklets dealing with particular manifestations or applications of the Circles in current life. This is made possible by recognition that the fiction is primarily a means of discovery for me; it is also, however, possibly the only method of gradually unfolding the whole pattern to others. Booklets, however, could possibly teach specific applications in a way which is not so easy in the fictions.

I try not to see the possibility of earning money as a reason for doing this: it seems a slight possibility, and we do have enough to manage on for a good while if we are careful and industrious on our tiny smallholding.* Booklets, however, do make sense of all the equipment we have built up in our existing business; and their marketing would involve me Eastwards.** The only question is whether they can do justice to the thing: or in other words, whether the prompting to do this is self-ish or self-less.***
