I don’t think this is the explanation for what is happening in the Middle East,* but it could happen one day: a secret coalition of powerful Arab states – say, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, even Egypt – resolves to throw off Western hegemony and its puppets once and for all. So a tiny but oil-rich ‘puppet’ kingdom is set up to be threatened – while no-one takes any notice – and finally invaded by one of the coalition.
The U[nited] S[tates of America] and its allies send in considerable but still relatively small forces to defend the other puppets. At the appropriate moment, the Western forces’ ostensible allies turn on them and destroy them, and then carve up the puppets among themselves.
A lesson has been taught to the West: stay out of the Arab World, once and for all.
