Islam’s current surge of fundamentalist revolt comes at much the same stage in the Muslim cycle (Muhammed born 570ce,* ie 1st 512 y[ea]r CE8 cycle + 58 years, ie S[~].512CE*)** as the fundamentalist revolt which we call the Reformation comes in the Christian cycle.
In either of these 2048 year O[uter] C[ircle] cycle[s] – which is not necessarily one of the strongest lengths of period – year 1536 and its time are likely to be characterised by the C→S~(/r~) sector of the next 512 year cycle as well as the G~(/a~) degree of the 2048 year cycle: in basic C[ircles] A[nalysis &] S[ynthesis] terms, a relatively short-term crisis of Attraction towards Ordination, and the conservative culture of the intellectual Right (reliance on texts, driving will power, etc); against the longer-term background of Revolution leading gradually towards Simplification and Crisis.
