[Redbook6:306-307][19891012:1612e]{Love,
Uncertainty and Emptiness against the Church}[12th October 1989]
19891012.1612
[continued]
Re-reading
my experience with the Undine(s),* I was once again aware of that
Presence beside me as I sat: and the pure Quality of the Love which
they bring. That is the incoming of the Love which is now also
outgoing – like Revelation, to discover and to disclose.
And
reading the entry shortly before – ‘the beat of Angelic Wings’**
[sic]:
‘ they beat against the page, waiting to be let in’ – makes me
aware (thank God) that by re-reading the earlier notes I have seen
what I have lost in grappling with the Human institution of the
Church.
In
two crucial words, Uncertainty and Emptiness: the Uncertainty of the
Man and the Emptiness of the Spirit.*** Only by matching that Mortal
Uncertainty and that Divine Emptiness can I hope to continue the
search towards the Truth which is God – my God.
My
Uncertainty and that Emptiness have been with me as long as I can
remember:**** they are the clear glass# out of and through which
Revelation can spring.
