The whole point of such a pilgrimage* is that it should not be rigid, nor travelled by coach-parties of tourists, but merely a guide-line for individuals (even if they do travel together) interested in pursuing a journey symbolic of the inner journey, and reflecting thereon. 

It would be a good idea to include as many as possible – indeed, all if possible – of Britain’s Cathedrals [sic] on the tour. The most important Cathedrals [sic] are Canterbury, York, St. David’s and Salisbury, for this journey.
