There
is, of course, no limit to the number of circuits* (and variety of
contexts[)] which (I imagine) may follow each other.
Let’s
try again:*
**
This
is, of course, exactly
the opposite of how I envisioned it when we travelled to and lived in
Scotland in 1986/87,*** which all goes to show that the power and
reality of symbols resides in the mind, not in their concrete
expression. The reversibility of C and A~ (like that of G~ and M~) is
built into the [O] structure: to the materialistically cluttered (at
or from A~) the desert is the place for spiritual renewal (at C); but
to the renewed (at or from C), the wilderness is a place of factories
and neon-lit offices (at A~).
Nevertheless
the reversal here is of a different order: only if we can transform
our whole society will we see (again?) the Holy City in the South and
the demons only in the wilderness of the North.
