{God the Creator, Christ and Spirit (1)}[4th August 1989]

[Redbook6:200][19890804:1938]{God the Creator, Christ and Spirit (1)}[4th August 1989]

.1938

This very practical and immediate touch of God* is not something reserved to the higher mystics – it is available to anyone of the right mind for it, if God wills.**

The Archetypal Christ, by contrast, being a person revealed in History, is available to anyone who knows him and looks for him, freely.***

I suspect that the Nothingness-experiences of the higher mystics is [sic] an experience of the Spirit – at rest.

All three types of experience of the Divine are open to distortion by the subjective mind of the seeker – in fact, for an earthly seeker, some subjective tinting or tainting of the perception is inevitable. It is worth bearing this in mind when people talk, as they sometimes do, of having themselves achieved Union with God. A Man may not do such, and live as a natural Man on Earth. But he may come very close.

**I have frequently addressed problems to God – the Father – and shortly thereafter, found them resolved.
[The writer continues to do this, but not so specifically to God the Father; only for significant problems, and successfully]

***The Archetypal Christ may, however, be seen within other persons, living, historical or even fictional, transforming their lives from within.<890806>
