I am beginning to think that I may have misnumbered the three books of the ‘[O]’ sequence so far written:* that because of the way they turned out, ‘[O]’ itself ought to have been [0], not [I] as I thought, ie at C not A~; ‘[1]’** [at] I not II, ie at A~ not R~; and ‘[2]’** at II not III, ie at R~ not J~. Strictly speaking, the last should then have a different title.*** Whether this matters, as it is hard to see when I shall write any more fiction, is questionable.
