*I don’t know whether I spelt it out before: that the girl who first arrived in my waking life on **p285, is the image of the girl who came leaping out of waist-high waves in a dream on ***p276, as I recall her.

Incidentally, when I say that this form is created within my mind to give form to a Quality (ie set of qualities), that is no more than happens when I see a living person in the actual World – but physical properties as well as qualities, in both the observed and the observer, construct the image of the observed in the actual World. One can probably assume that her physical form owes more to me than would be the case in the Outside [sic] World – but not for certain; and in any case, there are traditions, which have probably affected me.
