[continued]
At
this moment, I feel as free of depression as I did immediately after
my dream* (although it recurred later). Depression is a kind of
darkness, and can be dispelled by the Light;** but that is not to be
confused with dwelling in the Darkness. *** The important thing when
you are in darkness is to find the Light: or at least the light
switch.
I
feel when I am struck by these moods (which may occur for brief
periods over a longer period) that I am letting down the Spirit and
Soul-quality whose presence I recorded earlier**** – who is never
present during these moods. She is, I think, a major part of the
correct response to them: Simplicity, Temperance, Wisdom, and Love.

in the case of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)....]
***ie,
when things are dark, you can generally see them by throwing light on
them (OK) or getting close to them (not OK).
