of the Spirit [continued]}[4th

I
imagine that many people would flee in terror from this* pure
Emptiness** – and do so, [sic]
hiding it instinctively or deliberately behind layers of Separation:
particularly material Separation, but also the physical (and mental)
Separation of frantic activity. I imposed layers of Separation on it
not through terror of the Emptiness, which would have been
understandable, but through craven fear of economic scarcity*** and
social degradation. I overcame the latter, but the former haunts me
still:**** being connected with # that resentment which fills and
hides the Emptiness, or did do until today.
I
do not flee from the Emptiness: although I rejected the depression
which used to fill and/or hide it, I accepted the Emptiness as
holy.#* Nevertheless it must be filled: it will not leave one happy
until it is
filled. Tending superficially to fix on lost loves – the dead,
real or imagined, and times past – it is not satisfied by these
until
they are fused into the knowledge of that God, the Spirit, in whom
they all co-exist: the imagined as much as the real, for these
imagined are composed of real Qualities which exist in the Spirit;
and in the end, all will and must be wound up into Him.
