Qualities of Angels [continued

It
would be rational to suppose that the Angels at +C†I~
tend to be of the female gender, at least in their idealised forms,
because they are at the beginning or end of the female semicircle;
whereas the Seraphim at +C†I~
would tend to be of the male gender, at least in their idealised
forms, because they are at at the end or beginning of the male
semicircle. But this is only supposition: experience may prove
otherwise.
But
can you imagine a more attractive* blend of qualities in a group of
young girls than Innocence, Goodness, Grace – &
Attractiveness;** and if you add to those Temperance, Wisdom,
Simplicity and Love, what a perfect female companion she would make –
for either sex.***
Once
again,**** Beauty does not appear.
*(&
unlikely)
**[Originally
in the ms Attraction, the actual Principle/Quality, but amended in
the ms to Attractiveness, perhaps mistakenly]
***[Depending
on one’s idea of perfection…. The point here being presumably
that these qualities did not arrive where they are (in the writing of
these journals) from any idea of their being particularly appropriate
to females, companions or otherwise.]
