An earlier suggestion* that shorter [sic] lines from C and A to other points are less or more conscious according** to their brevity or length – has implications for the characteristics, as perceived externally, of (theoretical) types at the other points. One might expect the shorter lines to indicate conscious influences and obvious behaviour, the longer to suggest unconscious influences and concealed behaviour.

This is perhaps more relevant to the Outer Circle than the Inner: where an Artist or Politician (for example) at J~, or a Craftsman at U~, might exhibit materialistic or even evil characteristics while having an element of truth 'underneath' it, not readily apparent except perhaps in his Art, Ideals, or Craft.

Conversely, a particular type of Army Officer, at S~, or a Doctor or Lawyer nearby (unless they are too far towards balance at M~), or I suppose a Comedian or Musician at R~ (although this seems far less characteristic),*** might exhibit a commitment to truth in his obvious and daily life (e.g. his work), but beneath it conceal an element of ruthless separation of the kind which may assist in forcing a career in those particular fields. The latter type, of course, are more dangerous to others: we sometimes describe them as hypocrites.

***(I don't know much about the lives of Musicians or Comedians.)
