{Holi Days}[15th March 1988]

[Redbook5:65][19880315:2020]{Holi Days}[15th March 1988]

.2020

Apparently the Hindu festival 'Holi', the Festival of Colours, beginning with the last full Moon in March – is rooted in fertility rites, with red dye* splashed around to represent menstruation: women are allowed to behave flirtatiously, and the Earth awakes from Winter. It is (I read)** associated with Krishna.
