Grail Quest Circle [continued]}[12th

.2005
[continued]
In
Tarot terms one can perhaps see the earlier phases of the Arthurian
story* in T.0 (Young Arthur)/T.I (Merlin) T.II-V: T.II being perhaps
the Lady of the Lake, T.III and T.IV fairly obvious, and T.V perhaps
the initiator of the Grail Quest: the Keeper of the Hallows
(incorporating both religious and military aspects in his degree).
As in earlier syntheses,*** that**** is# the Knaves “Circle”;****
the Outer Circle of course is Knights; the Inner is Queens (achieved
and carried in the Heart); and T.0 again is Kings, around the Centre.
(This analysis, as noted earlier, does have drawbacks).
On
the main Grail Quest Circle, the Outer Circle (Knights), the
interesting contrast in my mind is between the (male and) ordered
(and blue) outset of the Quest (albeit contrary to the King's will);
and the (female and red) dissolution of it on the other side.
