When I had thought it* was the other way round, I had been going to remark that Visual artists are a little more 'clubbable' than creative writers,, and readier to work together in non-creative work for (e.g.) mutual protection: just as team games players [are] a little more 'clubbable', perhaps, than individual games players (but NB the golf club?**). But to an extent I really can have it both ways: this is the nature of the Circles: the question we have to decide, is to what extent influence flows each way on each Circle; e.g.:
