I can see, therefore,* how it is that (for example) a clergyman in confusion and distress after his marriage** has broken down may revert to an earlier stage of development, corrupt it with material and specifically sexual factors, and attempt to find comfort in sexual contact with a child who may consciously or unconsciously*** represent the lost Christ-Archetype at an earlier stage of the Individual's development. (I am reminded once again of the 'slippery nude angel' apparently arranged for a Churchman at Cynthia Payne's brothel.)****

At a more developed stage, +C† without doubt appears as an adult form: any child-like aspect is entirely within the Christ-quality of the Soul, not in the image, and needs to be clearly understood before it is used as a psychological marker.
