The
older order of Vices (on p.13)* is pleasing in that almost all of
them appear fleetingly or are hinted at in the characters of the
corresponding Archetypes in [2]. So, perhaps to a slightly less
exclusive extent, do the Virtues. Apparent anomalies might be Sloth,
for xS** (although the error which she confesses after her dance
[in[2]]
is due to lack of forethought, and is uncharacteristic of the other
Archetypes); and Hope, for +Mk. This last, however, raises complex
and interesting questions as to what +Mk is actually doing; I do not
think that Hope is necessarily out of place.*** On Outer Circle (and
perhaps Inner?) here, even Faith becomes difficult, and Caritas (Love
– for God) has not yet arrived; but Hope is still possible, and can
carry you through.****
