{BUT on Vices see [[Redbook4:13-14][19870707:1000]{Virtues and Vices (2)}[7th July 1987]] p.13 for a different order!}
(SC=Sistine Chapel – see [next-but-one entry] below, p.4)
(Archangels[~] – see [next-but-two new entry heading,] p.7)
These virtues and vices are also appropriate generally to the eight Archetypes – in their own virtues, in their other characteristics, and in the reactions they arouse on others (ref. [2]).

The order of the 7 Deadlies is that given by Dante's Purgatory** (I have just read the introduction by Sayer and the footnotes to Canto XXIX ll121-130, plus a few lines of Canto I. I have at last finished [reading] Hell after many(?) years!) 'Truth' is my own insertion: not so much a Virtue as a (/the) Fact. But cf. 'And its*** rider's name was Faithful and True'.****

*{i.e. previous [not the pattern in the last previous entry, Tarot III – this one seems to incorporate elements of Tarot II].}

**{But see [[Redbook4:13-14][19870707:1000]{Virtues and Vices (2)}[7th July 1987]] p.13 for another hierarchy of vices.}

***(the white horse's)

****['And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.' (Revelation 19:11 (KJB/AV)]
