The
progress of our business since we started in [sic]
at Christmas 1982 is an almost exact description of the Outer Circle:
except that by being aware of the tendencies (although not
consciously aware until now of the Circular pattern) we seem to have
been able to guide it and keep it under control, keeping the
initiative (as it seems) over events.
