I do have a fairly serious theoretical problem over cycle periods.

I claim to have identified long-term human cycles of probably 4096 years; and of 2048, 1024, and 512 years. But in the shorter ‘wavelengths’ I have found only 64, 32, 16, 8 and 4 years, and perhaps 2 and of course 1. Why is this? What has happened to 256 and 128 year cycles?

First of all it is worth noting that 64 years is the maximum complete Individual cycle (although a 128 year cycle exists at least in part) as well as the apparent minimum collective cycle (ie in the *affairs of Mankind – there may be lesser cycles, but I haven’t found them).

Second, the existence of 256 year and 128 year cycles follows from the existence of the others, particularly 512 and 64,** given diametric resonance especially (ie a 512 year A~ implies a 256 year C, and a 256 year A~ implies a 128 year C, and a 64 year C implies a 128 year A~).

What is in doubt is the existence of discrete phenomena co-periodic with these cycles, as opposed to phases in longer phenomena corresponding to the same cycles.
