It may be possible to differentiate the 64 year cycles from the longer cycles (512* year upwards), by saying that the 64-year cycles relate primarily to individual or spontaneous expressions, but the longer cycles only occur within institutions for which Men have developed structures allowing long term continuity, the prolongation of (institutional) life, and/or the delay of the outward cycle of development and decay.


This is difficult to relate to the theory** given above*** re the shortest apparent such cycle being 64 x 8 = 512 years.


I have to admit that I don’t terribly want to find complete collective cycles of 128 or 256 years, especially the former, because they would make the discovery of cycles too easy to be convincing, or too confusing to be clear.
