*It is interesting to see how little time it took us to decide to reverse our business cycle.** I guess that the decision was indeed, as I think I described it then,*** ‘crucial’. It does appear that each crisis resolution phase is itself likely to be capable of mapping on the same circle plan as is the larger cycle of which the crisis is being resolved. The relationship between smaller and larger cycles becomes a little clearer.

(1)**** At least in the earlier stages of a larger circle, smaller circles influence larger circles. This must follow from the whole idea of the crisis resolution period. (And to think I thought that once you had turned the corner it would all be Love and Peace! – Well perhaps it is, once you have turned the corner.)

(2)# On the other hand, I would expect that in the later stages of a larger circle, the larger circle influences the smaller circles.

(3)#* Then again, the larger circle must carry over some influence on the smaller circles (and, of course, the larger circle) immediately subsequent to its completion – always subject to the freedom, the terrible freedom, of Crisis.

#***

(4)#** And symmetrically, I should expect – what? It was on the edge of my mind while I was writing (2) and (3), but – was it that the smaller circles at the end of a larger circle might also carry over some influence on the larger circle (and, of course, the smaller circles) immediately subject to the end of the larger circle (subject to the freedom of Crisis as above)? I guess so.
