Bearing
in mind the crowns on** TVI(?), TVII, and TVIII – it may be that
the Number and Court Cards moving inwards from Ace through 10 to King
– only reach the outside of the Circles, or the level of the Circle
II - IV, at Kings; or, as at present depicted, reach that point at
Knaves and the 'first' circle (T0) at Kings. On the whole (and
bearing in mind the particularly dynamic characteristics of the Outer
or 'Knights' Circle, and the movement on the Knights cards), I think
I still prefer the present version.
*[In
the ms there is an attempt to represent the hieroglyphic, showing
something like a diagonal winged arrow pointing up left, and a
spiral.]
